My research focuses on the complex interplay among intraindividual traits (e.g., personality, emotion), interpersonal factors (e.g., parenting, social support), and contextual risk (e.g., adversity, low socioeconomic status, chronic illness) in influencing important outcomes across the lifespan, such as mental health. Much of this work has been conducted with parents and adolescents, in the UK and Serbia so far. I am also interested in practical applications of this work, particularly in supporting the mental health of young people.
